It was an honor to be invited, for the second consecutive year, to participate in the Marcha dos Audazes, an annual initiative promoted by former soldiers of the Regimento de Comandos da Amadora, which aims to honor the military personnel who participated in the operations of November 25, 1975. This event commemorates the decisive intervention of the Comandos, under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Jaime Neves, who played a crucial role in stabilizing Portuguese democracy. Their actions were fundamental in preventing a potential civil war and consolidating the democratic process in Portugal.

The Marcha dos Audazes not only pays tribute to the heroes of the past but also reinforces the values of courage, discipline, and patriotism that characterize the Comandos. Participating in this event is an opportunity to acknowledge the sacrifice of those who fought for freedom and to celebrate the resilience of the Portuguese people in building a democratic and prosperous nation.
