Portuguese entrepreneur César DePaço, a long-time resident of New Jersey and well-known for his philanthropic activities, revealed to the LUSO-AMERICANO newspaper that he channeled a substantial amount of funds throughout 2024 to support social causes and law enforcement agencies.
According to the philanthropist, the total sum of donations distributed over the past year “exceeds seven hundred thousand dollars.”
The Portuguese entrepreneur, born in the Azores and residing in Somerset County, stated that the amount was divided among “various police departments, sheriff's offices, and other organizations.”
As is widely known, César DePaço is a strong supporter of causes related to law and order, having donated nearly three million dollars to various American and even Portuguese law enforcement agencies.
The social component also concerns him, which is why, on numerous occasions, he provides support to organizations or individuals in need.
Among the entities that benefited in 2024 from the generosity of the CEO of Summit Nutritionals International, whose aid knows no boundaries, were the Flemington Borough Police Department, Table of Hope, Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, Bound Brook Police Department, Far Hills Country Day School, Union County Sheriff’s Office, Peapack & Gladstone Police Department, and Somerset County Sheriff’s Office.
In Portugal, he also became a supporter of the Iberian wolf conservation cause in 2024, a species on the brink of extinction.
